Patricia Teixeira

Patricia S. Teixeira, 76, of Port Charlotte, Florida, formerly of Rockford, Ohio, died at 3:05.p.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2012, at the Tidewell Hospice Home in Port Charlotte. She was born on March 12, 1936, the daughter of Clarence "Buck" and Donna Francis ( Bennett )Trisel. On June 3, 1978, she married Peter A. Teixeira, and he survives in Port Charlotte. Pat was a homemaker and had also been a beautician in the Rockford area before moving to Florida in 1977. Surviving in addition to her husband, Peter, are four children: a daughter, Pam Kay Bowen, Mendon, Ohio and three sons: Scott (Barb) Bowen, Rockford, Ohio; Bruce (Darla) Bowen, Kendallville, Indiana; and Todd David Bowen, Bradenton, Florida. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Lucas (Katie) Bowen, Corey Bowen, Kayla Bowen, and Brandon (Kelsey) Bowen; four great grandchildren, and one sister, Connie Trisel of Bradenton, Florida. Graveside services for friends and family will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2012, at 12:00 noon at Riverside Cemetery in Rockford, Ohio, with Pastor Mark Rutledge officiating. There will be a private viewing for family members only. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
