Patti A. Ashbaugh

Patti A. Ashbaugh, 71, of Convoy, Ohio, died at 5:15am on Thursday, January 9, 2024, at Ohio Health-Van Wert. She was born May 31, 1953, in Van Wert County, to Ellsworth and Grace (Guenin) Mitch. On December 1, 1979, she married David B. Ashbaugh.

She retired from Federal Mogul, in Van Wert, after many years of service. She had also worked as a nurses aide at Van Wert Manor.

Patti is survived by her husband, David A. Ashbaugh of Convoy; three sons, John Ashbaugh, Jeff (Kristen) Ashbaugh and Chris Ashbaugh; three step-daughters, Susan (Ralph) Mell, Dorothy (Brian) Bauer and Michelle Hire; two sisters, Debbie (Dale) Schumm and Julie (Ned) Frandsen; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.

She had been an avid reader, enjoyed crafts and other hobbies. Most importantly, Patti loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Patti was preceded in death by her parents.

Private family burial in Convoy I.O.O.F. Cemetery will take place at a later date.
