Patty Heckert

Patty A.  Heckert,  53, of Van Wert, OH died 7:50PM January 31,2018 @ James Cancer Center, Columbus, OH. She was born on April 24,1964 in Frederick Maryland to the parents of Billy Lee Howard  & Shirley Marie (Castle) Howard who are both deceased.

Patty married Gary L. Heckert who survives in Van Wert, OH.  Also surviving are her children Scottie Lee (Helen) Jones, Kendallville, IN, Tiffany Yoder, Van Wert, OH, Angie (JR) Bradley, Nappanee, IN. One brother  Billy Lee (Ruth) Howard, Ponchatoula, LA and two sisters Glenda (Ron) Clark, Ft. Wayne, IN and Kathi (Ed) Silcott, Bardstown, KY. Five grandchildren also survive.

Patty was a receptionist at Van Wert Veterinary Clinic in Van Wert, OH.

Calling hours will be from 2-4 & 6-8PM Tuesday February 6,2018 @ Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert, OH.  Graveside services will be Thursday February 8,2018 10AM at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in rural Van Wert County Ohio.

Preferred memorials are to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
