Richard Bridges

VAN WERT, Ohio a�" Richard G. "Rick" Bridges, 63, of Van Wert, died at 3:10 a.m. Sunday, June 22, 2014, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center - Van Wert.
He was born Aug. 22, 1950, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Hanna (Kozak) Bridges and Glenn Bridges.
His wife, Angela Judith (Boyd) Bridges, preceded him in death. They were married May 24, 1975.
Survivors include children: Abram Bridges of Van Wert, Tonyia Parker of South Vienna, Ohio, and Amelia Bridges and Mikayla Bridges, both of Van Wert; mother- and father-in-law: Mr. and Mrs. Harold Boyd of Van Wert; two brothers; one sister; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
He performed maintenance at Mercy McCauley Center in Urbana, Ohio. He was a member of Urbana Friends Church in Urbana, and recently had been attending Good Shepard Church of Nazarene in Van Wert. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Good Shepard of the Nazarene Church, Van Wert. The Revs. Stuart Wyatt and Dave Ridenour will officiate. Burial will be in Convoy I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Convoy, Ohio.
Preferred memorial is Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
