Richard Hunziker

Richard D. Hunziker, 63 of Farmington, MI, born September 27, 1948 in Van Wert, Ohio, died April 22, 2012. Son of Margaret "Peggy" (Scott) Hunziker and Robert E. Hunziker,Sr., who survive in Van Wert, OH. Also survived by girlfriend Coleen Tabor and her daughter Amanda Tabor of Farmington, and children Angela (Jason) Woods of Columbus, OH, Ashley (Antonio) Cuyler of Solon, OH and three grandchildren, Carter and Parker Woods and Alexis Cuyler. The mother of Richard's children is Janice Jones who survives in Spokane, WA. Richard was preceded in death by his brother Robert "Bob" E. Huziker, Jr. Richard was a retired buyer for many drug stores. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, a life member of the Van Wert American Legion and was a life member of the Spencerville, Ohio V.F.W. Calling hours are 10:00AM to 2:00PM Thursday April 26,2012 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral service will be at 2:00PM Thursday April 26,2012 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home and Crematory, Van Wert, OH. Officiating will be Rev. Will Haggis and the preferred memorial will be to the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center, Cleveland, OH. Burial will take place at Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert, OH.
