Richard Methot

Richard K. Methot, 51, of Van Wert, died at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at Van Wert Hospital.
He was born Oct. 2, 1960, in Orange County, Calif. His mother, Susie (maiden name Bill) Methot Perez, and stepfather, Alfred Perez, survive in Van Wert.
His father, Richard T. Methot, is deceased.
Other survivors include his companion: Deb Hitchcock, who survives of Van Wert, a son: Taylor Methot of Scott, Ohio, and a brother: Paul V. (Tammy) Methot of Van Wert.
He had formerly had worked for Cooper Farms, Van Wert. He was a graduate of Van Wert High School.
Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Hal Shafer will officiate.
Friends may call from 2-3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29 at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is American Heart Association.
