Rick J. Baum, 60, of Van Wert, died at 11:50 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2014, at his residence.
He was born February 12, 1954, in Van Wert, the son of the late Richar J. and Frances G. (Becker) Baum. He married Karen (Klausing) Baum, who survives in Van Wert.
Other survivors include two sons, Jeremy (Maggie) Baum of Dublin and Nick (Nancy) Baum of Chicago, Illinois; and two grandchildren, Isla Baum and Pierce Disher.
Mr. Baum was currently a machine operator at Continental Structural Plastics in Van Wert. He was a member of Elks Lodge 1197, Willow Bend Country Club, both in Van Wert and Van Wert Masonic Lodge. He was an avid golfer and University of Michigan Wolverines fan and he loved riding his Harley.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday, October 18, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert.
