William H. Ringwald, 92, of Van Wert, died at 9:42 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2011, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.
He was born April 26, 1919, in Van Wert County, the son of the late Clarence A. and Elizabeth (Maples) Ringwald. On December 4, 1941, he married Della (Armstrong) Ringwald, who survives in Van Wert.
Other survivors include three children, William (Marilyn) Ringwald III and Michael (Dottie) Ringwald, both of Spencerville, and Edward L. Ringwald of Van Wert; a brother Clarence Ringwald Jr. of Van Wert; one sister, Mary Lou Butler of Van Wert; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Lois Ann Ringwald; two brothers, John and Ralph Ringwald; and three sisters, Irene Zirkle, Helen Stutz and Edith Kundert, also preceded him in death.
No funeral services will be held and burial will take place at a later date.
