VAN WERT, Ohio a�" Robert F. Fowler of Van Wert, died at 10:48 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice.
He was born June 6, 1934, in Van Wert, to the late Elizabeth (Milbourne) Fowler and Forrest Fowler.
His wife, Julianne Fowler, died Oct. 9, 2012. They were married in 1959.
Survivors include children: Patricia (Kenneth) Fast of Moundsville, West Virginia, Beth (John) Krochmal of Galloway, Ohio, Catherine (Todd) Kette of Powell, Ohio, and Jim (Adrienne) Fowler of Marietta, Georgia; brother: Charles (Cathy) Fowler of Paulding, Ohio; sister: Helen Mankey of Decatur, Indiana, and nine grandchildren: Aaron, Carl and Jacob Fast, Joe and Jim Krochmal, Nikki Kette, Catherine, Jocelyn and Grey Fowler.
He was preceded in death by a son: Jeffrey Fowler, and a brother: Bill Fowler.
He retired as a pharmacist at Downtown Drugs in Van Wert. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Van Wert, and the Van Wert Elks lodge.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Van Wert Inpatient Hospice or Ohio Northern Raabe College of Pharmacy.
