Robert Tracy

GROVER HILL, Ohio - Robert M. Tracy, 86, of Grover Hill, died at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2011, at the Van Wert Manor Nursing Home in Van Wert.
He was born Sept. 11, 1924, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Ada (Korf) Tracy and Claude Tracy. His wife, Betty J. (Ashbaugh) Tracy, survives in Grover Hill.
Other survivors include:
Children - Floyd (Shirley) Tracy and Gary Tracy, both Van Wert, and Roxana (Lonnie) Lytle of Grover Hill
His grandchildren, Allyssa (Nic) Alvarez; Carlee (Brad) Denning; Matthew (Lydia) Miller; Traci (Greg) Hollenbaugh; Gene (Melissa) Tracy and Travis Tracy, and seven great-grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by two children: Janet Miller and Lloyd Tracy, and his sisters: Alberta Ours, Lucille Morrison, Wilma Bish, Lois Thrasher, Bea LeMonds and Inez Lawther.
He retired from the Continental Can Co. in Van Wert in 1982 after 30+ years of service.
A graveside service will be held at the Maumee Cemetery in Antwerp, Ohio, at noon Wednesday. The Rev. William Sherry will officiate. There will be no calling hours.
