Ronnie D. Huffine, 62, of Van Wert, Ohio died at 7:30 AM on Friday, August 17, 2018 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio. He was born November 16, 1955 in Adams County, Indiana to the late Leon and Louise (Stetler) Huffine.
Mr Huffine is survived by a brother, James (Pam) Huffine of Convoy, Ohio; a sister, Carolyn Griffiths of Decatur, Indiana; a sister-in-law, Monica Huffine of Decatur, Indiana; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his beloved dog, Pepper.
Mr. Huffine was the owner and operator of Ron Huffine Trucking. He was a graduate of Parkway High School and attended Countryside Chapel United Methodist Church in Convoy, Ohio. Ronnie loved his family, friends, and being on the road driving truck with Pepper.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Donnie Huffine; and a brother-in-law, Keith Griffiths.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Countryside Chapel United Methodist Church in Convoy with Rev. Seeyoung Lee officiating. Graveside committal services will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday at Willshire Cemetery in Willshire, Ohio.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
Preferred memorials may be directed to Countryside Chapel United Methodist Church.
