Ronnie "Ron" Agler

Ronnie J. "Ron" Agler, 71, of Ohio City passed away Thursday afternoon October 1, 2020 at Parkview Regional Medical Center.

Born on July 7, 1949, in Van Wert, the son of the late Joseph W. and Betty Lou (Long) Agler. He married the Kathy Agler, who survives. Together, they shared many years of Marriage.

Ron was a graduate of Van Wert High School. He retired from Grief Brothers in Van Wert after many years of service.

Ron enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching NASCAR with Kathy, and spending time visiting with family and friends.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Kathy, are his children, Amy (Eric Morr) Rice of Zionsville, Indiana, Adam (Christine) Agler of Beaufort, Missouri, Jason (Mandy) Agler of Washington, Missouri, and Gabe McConn of Raleigh, N.C.; 6 grandchildren, Dariah, Paeton, Andon, Madison, Livi, and Stella; and a sister, Pam McCollum of Van Wert.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Betty, and a brother, Jerry Agler.

The funeral will be held at 3:00 PM, on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, with Rev. Gerald Baker, officiating.

Visitation will be 1:00-3:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
