Rosa Benavidez Rosales Miracle, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 79. She was born on December 21, 1944, in Nixon, Texas, to the late Ramon and Herlinda (Trigo) Benavidez. Rosa was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family.
Rosa worked in the banking industry as a mortgage and title officer. After retirement, Rosa worked as an adult care provider in Thomas Edison group homes. She also worked as a translator for the Van Wert Municipal Court.
She was a member of the Jennings Road Church of Christ, where she served on several committees. Rosa was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She loved shopping, and she really loved DANCING. But most of all, she loved her family.
Rosa is survived by her loving spouse, Jerry Miracle of Van Wert, Ohio; her devoted children Joyce Pike of Taos, New Mexico, Belinda (Mike) Springer of Van Wert, Ohio, Melissa (Doug) Babcock of Ruidoso, New Mexico, Jay (Kristin) Miracle of Cleveland, Ohio, and Carolyn (Andy) Vonderembse of Van Wert, Ohio; her dear brother Ramon (Elsa) Benavidez of Van Wert, Ohio; and her beloved seventeen grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Rosa's memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ricardo S. Rosales; her brother, Antonio Benavidez; and two sisters, Alcaria "Kelly" Gutierrez, and Guadalupe "Lupe" Aguirre.
A funeral celebration of Rosa's life will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Jennings Road Church of Christ, 1124 Jennings Road, Van Wert, Ohio 45891. Pastor David Ray will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, 10968 Woodland Avenue, Van Wert, Ohio 45891.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 3, 2024, from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, 722 South Washington Street, Van Wert, Ohio 45891.
Memorial contributions in Rosa's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3550 South Clark Street, Suite 203, Arlington, Virginia 22202.

Rosa will be most remembered for her quick wit, her infectious laugh and memorable giggle, and her unwavering love for her friends and family. She was known for being the best listener and advice giver. Her kindness and giving heart will be missed. Think of her when you dance, and know she's dancing with you. She will be missed.
