Sarah Robeson

In loving memory of Sarah J. Robeson who was born on Jan. 3, 1943, in Van Wert, to Llewellyn, Sr. and Blanche (Harman) Whitaker.

She passed away on Sept. 9, 2012, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.

She attended Haviland, Scott and Blue Creek Local Schools.

She married Ronald E. Robeson on May 2, 1964, in Decatur, Ind.

She retired from Teleflex, Inc. after 33 years of dedicated service. She was a loving and caring person who will be greatly missed.

Her surviving children are Mona (Kurt) Massillo of Van Wert, Candi (David) Holt of Scott, Bud Robeson of Van Wert, and Blaise (Cathy) Robeson of Sissonville, West Virginia. Her grandchildren are Jamie (Adam) Wehage, Nicole Martin, Connor Massillo, Adam (Lindsey) Stemen, Ryan King, Miranda Caldwell, Zachary Robeson and Ava Robeson. Her great-grandchildren are Adin Wehage, Dresden Wehage, Gage Stemen, Alexia Stemen, Corbin Delgado, Ciara Caldwell, Cayee Caldwell and Chanze Caldwell. Her mother-in-law, Mary (Shingledecker) Robeson, survives of Van Wert. Her brother, Doyle (Nancy) Whitaker, survives of Scott and her sister, Anna Jean Bigalow, survives of Scott.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother: Llewellyn "Pete" Whitaker, Jr. and her father-in-law: Franklin "Bud" Robeson.

There will be no services held at this time.

Preferred memorials may be directed to Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center in honor of Sarah Robeson.

Arrangements were handled by Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert.
