Scot Alan Etgen

Scot Alan Etgen, 61, of Convoy, passed away at 2:10 PM on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Van Wert Manor. He was born on January 12, 1962, in Van Wert, to Harold R. and Rosanna (Purk) Etgen. He married the former Karen Glossett. Together, they shared many years of memories.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Scot retired from Dedicated Fleet, Van Wert, as a truck driver.

He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Van Wert.

Scot enjoyed Sprint Car racing and Ohio State football.

Surviving are his wife, Karen Etgen of Convoy; his daughter and grandchildren, Taylor (Stephen) Semer, of Van Wert, and Nora, Barrett, Knoxson and Charlotte Semer; and a step-son and step-grandchildren, Eddie Glossett, of Van Wert, and Justice (Abby) Parsons, Destinee Hough and Marlee Glossett.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of Scot's life will be held at a later date.
