Stephen Craig Duff, 70, of Van Wert passed away at 8:00 AM on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
Born on February 12, 1950 in Decatur, Indiana, the son of the late Paul Duff and Wanda Jean (Granger) Chase who survives in Napoleon, Ohio. He married the former Marie Stevens, who survives. Together, they shared over 50 years of memories.
Craig retired as Lab Manager from Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton, Ohio after 40+ years of service.
Craig was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church in Van Wert. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Craig enjoyed reading, golfing, watching baseball and was an avid all-around sports fan. Most importantly, Craig always loved and supported his family.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, Jean, and wife Marie, are his sons, Chad (Tammy) Duff of Dayton, Ohio and Kevin (Tendra) Duff of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kearsley, Kaiden, and Trenin Duff; a brother, Timothy (Lisa) Duff of Fairfield, PA; and a sister, Paulette (Charles) Carpenter of Napoleon, OH.
Due to COVID-19, there will be private family services held with burial to immediately follow in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Craig`s memory may be directed to Down Syndrome Indiana, 708 E Michigan St, Indianapolis, IN 46202.
