Tammy Marlene Wood Morefield, died at 1:54 a.m. Friday, March 31, 2017 at Van Wert County Hospital. She was born March 24, 1965 in Alexandria, Virgina to Phyllis (Bob) Thatcher who survives of Rockford, Ohio and Ray (Angel) Wood Sr. who survives of Kentucky.
She married the love of her life, Jeffery Jay Morefield on Jun 12, 1982. He survives in Van Wert.
Other survivors include children, Lindsey Renee Spiecher of Rockford, Ohio, Loree Rachel Hines of Van Wert, Ohio, Jeremy Joseph Jay (Jessica) Morefield of Van Wert, Ohio; a brother, Ray (Sara) Wood Jr. of Rockford, Ohio; grandchildren, Connor Menke, Chloe Morefield, Aubree Hines, Kayelee Morefield, Laytin Hines, Payton Morefield, Brysyn Hines, Addilyn Morefield, Kamdyn Spiecher, Destyn Hines, Brittyn Spiecher, Hudysn Spiecher and Jozee Morefield.
Tammy was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Wood.
She worked as a housekeeping manager at Elmco Engineering in Van Wert and was a member of Abounding Grace Ministries in Celina, Ohio. She attended Lincolnview High School and graduated from Vantage Career Center.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Abounding Grace Ministries, Celina, Ohio. Service will be held directly after at noon, also at Abounding Grace Ministries with Pastor Rick Brosher officiating. Graveside committal services will take place at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, Ohio.
