Terry Amstutz

September 23, 1957 — January 18, 2015

VAN WERT, Ohio a�" Terry L. Amstutz, 57, of Van Wert, passed away on Jan. 18, 2015 at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born Sept. 23, 1957, in Van Wert, to Richard and Joan (Gamble) Amstutz, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by two brothers, Gregory (Michele) Amstutz of Van Wert and Michael R. Amstutz of Fort Jennings; nephews: Joshua (Andrea) Amstutz, Eric Amstutz, Matthew (Amanda) Amstutz, and David (Kari) Amstutz; nieces: Angela (Frank) Browning, Melissa (Adam) Weber, and Ashley Amstutz; great nieces: Marrisa Amstutz, Ema Amstutz, Eva Amstutz, Eliza Amstutz, Alexis Browning, Abigale Browning, Aubrie Browning, Beth Browning, and Olivia Amstutz; great nephews: Ethan Amstutz, Zach (Morgan) Browning, and Jonavan Weber; great-great nieces: Khloe Browning; great-great nephews: Kameron Browning and Benjamin Browning and many special cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents: Bernell and Geraldine (Swartz) Gamble, Noah and Carrie (Dunbar) Amstutz.

He was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, children's cherub choir, youth and senior choir. He played piano and organ for the church. He was one of the three founding members of the group "Trinity". He was a 1975 graduate of Van Wert High School. He worked 26 years for Western Buckeye E.S.C. at several schools and Wells Motor Sales and Service. Terry enjoyed traveling and genealogy.

Memorial service will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church Saturday, Jan. 24 at 10:30 a.m. officiated by Rev. Josh Tissot.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, Wounded Warrior Project, and Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
