Thelma Grace Sinn, 86, of Ohio City, died at 10:11 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
She was born August 5, 1928, in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late James and Violet (Black) Eddy. On March 8, 1947, she married John R. Sinn, who preceded her in death on February 27, 2005.
Survivors include four children, David V. (Deanna) Sinn of Decatur, Indiana, Bruce (Vickie) Sinn of Worthington, Brian (Brenda) Sinn of Convoy and Beth (Terry) Fackler of Fort Wayne, Indiana; one sister, Jean Schmid of Van Wert; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A brother, Floyd Eddy; two sisters, Peg Hammond and Virginia Slane; and one grandchild, Danielle Sinn, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 19, at Convoy United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Greg Leigh officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.
Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, at Gearhart Jurczyk Funeral Home in Convoy.
