Timothy Palte

HAVILAND, Ohio - Timothy P. Palte, 63, of Haviland, died at 4:04 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Ft. Wayne, Ind.
He was born Aug. 15, 1950, in Van Wert, Ohio, to the late Madeline (Rodman) Palte and Ig Palte.
Survivors include nieces and nephews: Pat, Chris, Shawn, Paul and Matt Comer, Julie Voisard, Robin Patton, and great nieces and nephews: Keeley Comer, Ariel Comer, Kristian Comer, Patrick Comer, Abbie Evans, Suzanne Martin, Andy King, Megan, Nicole and Katie Voisard, Davis Patton, Gavin and Emma Comer.
He was preceded in death by brothers: Russell D. Comer and Harold Comer, and sister: Kathleen Palte.
He retired from Meridian Automotive in Grabill, Ind. He attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Paulding, Ohio, and was a member of Paulding Eagles.
Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert. Deacon Andy McMahon will officiate. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery, Grover Hill, Ohio.
Visitation is 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013 at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is American Diabetes Association.
