Tracy Miller
October 15, 1958 — August 21, 2011
VAN WERT, Ohio - Tracy L. Miller, our beloved son, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away into the arms of Jesus his Savior after a long, courageous battle with cancer. He was 52 years young.
He was born Oct. 15, 1958, in Van Wert, the son of the late Dr. Noel Thomas Miller and Nancy Jane (Carson) Miller who survives in Nokomis, Fla.
Tracy was a 4th generation chiropractor who loved his work taking over the family practice in 1992. He graduated from Van Wert High School in 1977. He attended Logan Chiropractic College in St. Louis, Mo., graduating in 1986. He enjoyed snowmobiling, boating and NASCAR and was a member of Van Wert ELKS Lodge 1197.
He is survived by his mother, three children: a son, Vallace Lee (Whitney Jewell) Hunt of Van Wert, a daughter, Paige and a son, Mark at home. One brother, Noel Thomas Miller, Jr. of Van Wert and three sisters, Terry Ann Johnson of Van Wert, Tammy (Larry) Kuperus of Freeport, Mich., Trina (Michael) Louth of Van Wert, two granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, and a son, Logan T. Miller.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert, Ohio.
