Tyson L. Humerickhouse, 28, of Van Wert, died Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at his residence. He was born May 8, 1984, in Van Wert, the son of Randy and Diann (Moreland) Humerickhouse, who survive in Van Wert. Tyson was co-owner of RTC Motors in Van Wert and a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Convoy. He was a 2003 graduate of Crestview High School and had an associate's degree from the University of Northwestern Ohio in diesel technology. He was also a graduate of the Vantage Career Center Police Academy. He loved sports, motorcycles and cars. In addition to his parents, survivors include his maternal grandparents, Ted and Cleo Moreland of North Fort Myers, Fla.; and a brother, Cody Humerickhouse of Columbus. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 27, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Convoy, with the Rev. Michael Saylor officiating.
Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Saturday, January 26, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert and an hour prior to services Sunday at the church. Preferred memorials: Van Wert Youth Football, 650 State St., Van Wert, OH 45891, or a charity of donor's choice.
