Wayne A. Keysor, 90, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at Fort Wayne Lutheran Hospital.
He was born on Aug. 30. 1921, to the late J. Artie and Gladys Keysor.
He graduated from Hoaglin-Jackson High School in 1939, and attended Giffin College before beginning his career as a farmer. Mr. Keysor was a member of Ridge Methodist Church, and also attended Grand Victory and Trinity Friends Churches.
On July 6, 1942, he married Velma M. Gusler, who preceded him in death in Dec. 5, 2000.
He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Hallam of Van Wert and Vicki (Gary) Pinkel of Columbia, Missouri; his grandchildren: Matthew Hallam, Erin Pinkel (Josh) Hendershott, Geoffrey (Jennifer) Pinkel, and Blakely (Jenny) Pinkel; and his great-grandchildren: Madison, Ellasyn and Gracyn Hendershott, Taylor and Kellan Pinkel and Bradley Pinkel.
Also preceding him in death were his brothers, Harold, Dale and Kenneth.
Surviving are his sister, Pauline Kundert (Galen) Gamble of Van Wert, his brother, Donald (Betty) Keysor of Lincoln, Calif., and sisters-in-law Dolores Keysor, Arlene Keysor and Betty Gusler.
Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. Oct. 10 at the funeral home with the Rev. Paul Miller officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Van Wert Salvation Army Food Pantry or to the donor's choice.
