Wayne Messenger

Wayne R. Messenger, 68, of Rockford, Ohio, passed away at his residence, Wednesday morning, October 24, 2018.  He was born on November 21, 1949 in California, to Carl Ray and Billie Messenger.  He had lived in Spencerville most of his life, but moved to Rockford 10 years ago to make his home.  He was a member of the St. Marys, Ohio, Eagles, Aerie #767 and a member of the Spencerville V.F.W. Bowersock Post # 6772.  Wayne loved riding his Harley, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Wayne is survived by one son, John (Jodi) Messenger of Spencerville, Ohio; a sister, Ruth (Andy) Reese, La Habra, California, a brother, Carl (Joyce) Messenger, California, and one grandson, Daman Messenger and his fiancé, Destiny Russell, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as well as A very special friend, Carol Fetters of Rockford also survives. Deceased is one sister, Doreen Gauger.
