William Feasby

William Allen “Bill” Feasby, 79, of Van Wert died at 4:58 PM, Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Indiana.  He was born August 7, 1938 in Van Wert to the late William J. and Evelyn L. (Harden) Feasby.  On August 5, 1996 he married Alice (Rempfer) and she survives.

Bill is also survived by a son, Timothy (Rhonda) Feasby of Sherwood, Ohio; 2 step daughters, Penny (Charlie) Buckmaster and Jennifer Holmes both of Spencerville, Ohio; 2 sisters, Sandra Drees of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Sue Murray of Van Wert; 5 grandchildren, Kyle Feasby, Patrick (Hannah) Holmes, Cody (Kylee) Holmes, Skyler (Fiance`:  Shania Johnson) Holmes and Conner Holmes; 3 great grandchildren, Isabelle Campbell, Charlotte Mae Holmes, and Bennett Holmes; and 3 nieces.

He retired as agent and owner of Bill Feasby- State Farm Insurance, Van Wert, Ohio, after 50+ years of service.  He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Van Wert, the Van Wert and Sebring, Florida Moose and Elks Lodges.  Bill was an avid golfer in both Ohio and Florida.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a son, Jospeh W. Feasby.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert with Rev. Will Haggis officiating.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Monday, April 23, 2018 at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice.
