William Lee

William A. Lee of Van Wert, died at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born June 28, 1948, in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, to the late Rita (Mahlan) Lee and Ralph Lee.
His wife, Martha (Bender) Lee, is deceased. They were married Oct. 10, 1970.
Survivors include children, Eric (Karen) Lee of Delaware, Ohio, Kendra (Matt) Schnelle of Canal Winchester, Ohio, and Michelle (Brent) Goetz of Toledo, Ohio, a sister, Sue Hammond of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and four grandchildren, Owen Schnelle, Lauren Goetz, Evelyn Schnelle, and June Lee.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Lee.
He retired from Consolidated Freight Ways in 2000. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam and a member of Van Wert Elks, VFW and American Legion.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2015, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory. The Rev. William Haggis will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015, at the funeral home.
